Claire Armstrong: Actor
Claire is a graduate of the Creative Ensemble stream, which is now known as the Devised Theatre program, of York University.
Claire worked with The Classical Theatre Project and was a company member for two years, playing lead roles in Shakespeare productions and performing for thousands of high school students. Claire is a member of the Red One Theatre Collective, a cutting-edge indie theatre company in Toronto, is also one of the creative team running Toronto’s Storefront Theatre. Claire produced and acted in After Miss Julie, by Patrick Marber, directed by David Ferry. Claire was the winner of the 2014 Dora Best Acting award for her work in that play.
She recently performed in Liver at The Storefront: Alchemist with Banff / Citadel. She will be starring in The Crucible at Theatre Calgary in the fall.
