(July 12 – 19) Site-specific theatre production about Toronto’s first Black postman.

After coming to Canada with his family via the Underground Railroad, Albert Jackson received help from Canada’s first prime minister, Sir John A. Macdonald, overcame prejudice, and delivered mail for 35 years. Staged from porches along Jackson’s delivery route and directed by Dora winner David Ferry, The Postman stars Laurence Dean Ifill.
